Primarily Primates

Primarily Primates is located on 78 acres and is home to roughly 400 animals. They have 32 chimpanzees and were home to 47 chimpanzees who were used in research. Their first chimpanzees from research arrived in 1986. The facility was placed in receivership by the Texas Attorney General and is now under the direction of a new Board of Directors.
